Tracfone Cell Phone Bluetooth® Capability
According to tracfone.com, “Bluetooth® is a short- range wireless communications technology intended to replace the cables connecting portable and/or fixed devices such as a headset or a hands free device with the phone. It can operate over a distance of 10 meters (30 ft.) and does not require line-of-sight positioning of connected devices.”
Bluetooth Capability
Oh, I know what it is! That means that if I have a set of wireless headphones, I can listen to applications like gaming stations, computers, mobile phone, personal digital assistants (PDAs), iPhones, iPads, and more with headphones and not be wired to the device. Whew, wouldn’t that be a relief? All that is required is for your connected device to have Bluetooth capability. This can happen either internally or via a Bluetooth® adapter, and you need a compatible version of Bluetooth.
Here is the short of the long. If you have a Bluetooth-enabled phone, it can be used with a Bluetooth headset. How much better could that be? And, it’s usually a simple matter to connect or “pair” your device with your phone.
So do some checking online if you’re thinking of getting a cell phone or already have one. Is your cell phone Bluetooth capable?
